Our team continues to promote the developed Program for Environmental and Ocean Literacy for the Black Sea. Yesterday, we visited the team of our long-term partners, the International Youth Centre - Stara Zagora. Together we dived into the depths of nature conservation and more specifically of the blue part of our planet – seas and oceans – with a focus on the Black Sea.

In addition to learning new facts about the environmental features, the ecosystem, and the inhabitants of the Black Sea, the youth workers expressed their personal connection with the sea, their perceptions of how they imagine the Black Sea, and what it should look like. We discussed the problems and challenges of achieving that.

In the end, we promised to meet again and left a set of training materials in order for more young people to have the chance to learn about the Black Sea and the World Ocean and raise their ocean literacy.
