- Information and data base on cetacean strandings along Southern Bulgarian Black Sea coas fro the period 2010-2015 are collected and submited to the international data base for Mediterranean and Black Sea – MEDACES, managed by University of Valencia, Spain.
- Pilot use of the study technique "Photo-identification of dolphins" and developed first catalogu for the Southern Bulgarian Black Sea – BULFINS 2012, including 20 individuals of bottlenose and 3 individuals of common dolphin.
- Developed proposals for two monitoring methodologies to the National System for Biodiversity Monitoring: "Collecting data on cetacean strandings" and "Photo-identification of dolphins".
- Organised trainings for municipal ecologists in all coastal municipalities in Bulgaria on collecting data and how to react in cases of cetacean strandings. All ecologists in those 13 municipalities and biodiversity experts in Environmental Inspectorates - Burgas and Varna are equipped with tool kits for data collection on cetacean strandings.
- Published and distributed "Manual on data collection on stranded cetaceans along Bulgarian Black Sea coast" free available in electronic copy
- In 2013, Green Balkans NGO has become the first institution in Bulgaria to aquire ACCOBAMS Partner status.
- Green Balkans NGO expert – Dimitar Popov is member (alternate for Black Sea region) of the ACCOBAMS Scientific Committee.
- Green Balkans NGO expert was part of the international team of experts appointed by ACCOBAMS Secretariat to review and update "Conservation Plan for Black Sea cetaceans" in 2014.
- Green Balkans NGO experts contribute to the development of National Reports to ACCOBAMS.
